FAQs

Question 1: What is REXX?

REXX is an important tool for managing the teaching and learning process. Faculty members, education staff, and students use the platform to record and manage learning data, including class attendance, clinical activities, medical procedures, and assessments. Logbooks are used to record relevant information, while the system also supports effective monitoring and analysis of student progress. Overall, REXX supports learning data management, assessment, and the continuous improvement of medical education.

REXX supports the measurement and evaluation of medical students’ learning outcomes by collecting assessment data based on Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) and Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) defined in the curriculum. This enables the teaching and learning process to be reviewed and improved in a more systematic and effective manner within medical education.

REXX helps ensure that medical students are assessed in alignment with the defined Course Learning Outcomes (CLOs) and Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs). The resulting data also enables the Faculty of Medicine to refine teaching and learning processes, promote more effective learning, and ensure that educational development remains aligned with intended learning goals.
